Crissy Field is a huge sprawling dog-friendly parkland area located in the historic Presidio park, and has a combination of protected wildlife refuges (where dogs must be leashed) and off-leash areas. This place is right at the northwestern tip of San Francisco, just to the east of the Golden Gate Bridge, and with amazing views of the bridge, Alcatraz, and downtown/wharf areas. There are a lot of historic buildings, some of which have been restored &/or are in current use, such as this nifty little walkway to nowhere. This is one of those charming places we like to take Corser for long afternoon jaunts, reminding us of how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful city.
